Prepaid is no longer for the weak!!

In the beginning "they" stuck us with overages for voice minutes, then texting (the biggest sin of all) and now they want to drain you wallet with data fees.

It is time to get it out of our head that prepaid is for the inferior phone with horrible service.  Options like Staighttalk (piggy backs off At&t signal) at $40 -$45 a month with unlimited data, talk and text are now available for the iPhone.  The process is simple on an At&t version of the iPhone but can still be done with the iPhone 4S on Verizon with some simple "Googling", Jail-breaking and a $15 "Gevey Ultra S Untethered iPhone 4S Unlocker".

This method is not for the faint of heart and I don't blame anyone for not going this route due to the complexities of the process.  In the future, with the iPhone 5 and as contracts begin to expire "PLEASE" make a sound investment and buy and unlocked iPhone and go with T-Mobile or Straighttalk.  The low $35 to $45 a month fee will pay for itself two fold over getting suckered into a limited data plan with the "Big Two".

If you own a smart phone (iPhone or otherwise) make a smart decision with your money and go prepaid.  If not for yourself then for the point of showing the "MEGACORPS" that smartphone buyers are not brainless consumers who will fall for anything.
